came to her town casting for the touring production
of the show. Eden auditioned and got the part of Young Cosette. She toured with the show for one year, traveling to 26 cities
in the U.S. After that, she was brought to Broadway where she played Cosette for another two years. She moved from school
to school but ended up in the Professional Children's School in New York.
When it was time for Eden to move on from Les Mis, she moved to New York permanantly and became a working actress. For
ten years Eden worked in theatre- on Broadway and off, acting with the Manhatten Theatre Club, Circle in the Square, Bay Street
Theatre, Circle Rep Theatre Lab, and John Houseman Theatre. She learned many things with each new experience. For instance,
in the Will Rogers Follies on Broadway, she learned to tap dance and Western Rope.
By this time Eden began to branch out into film and television. In 1995 she was cast as Meghan Cooper, on New York Undercover.
She was also seen in a guest starring role on Law and Order, as well as Heather, an AIDS patient, on As the World
Turns. Perhaps her most renowned movie role was from the hit film American Pie, where she played Sarah, an innocent
sophomore first experiencing the loud and lewd antics of Steve Stiffler at her first house party. You can also see her in
the film, Henry Hill.
Something you may not know is that Eden is a very talented singer. Singing in Les Miz, growing up and having worked
with numerous voice coaches over the years she has come to have a beautiful and matured voice. You can hear her in Dreamworks'
animated musical picture, Prince of Egypt as young Miriam. She soloed on the soundtrack of Sean Penn's drama, The
Crossing Guard, and has sung on the four Broadway Kids CDs. She also sung backup vocals for Michael Jackson and Jewel.
Education has always has been a top priority for Eden. One of her dreams is to go to law school. She is currently on leave
from Harvard University, where she studies political and social theory. Harvard allows you to take a five-year leave of absence
but, Eden says she will return before then. She spent the first half of one of her summers back in her hometown, in our nation's
capital, interning at the White House. While there, she learned first hand about politics and public service; areas in which
she became interested in college.
At school she takes part in many activities that remain extremely important to her, including the Radcliffe Pitches (her a cappella singing group where she served as president
one year), the all-female social organization the Seneca,
the ,u>Hasty
Pudding, and the Crimson Key
Society. - She would greatly appreciate it if you'd like to take the time to visit their websites.- Eventually,
Eden plans to return to school to get her degree and resume these activities, but in the meantime she is looking forward to
a different kind of education, in a field that will always be her primary passion. She says that it was a very hard decision
to leave Harvard but, she realized she could return at any time. The role she was about to be offered however, was a one-time
opportunity.
Since July 2000. Eden has joined the cast of All My Children where she plays Bianca Montgomery. Binky or Binks, as she is
often called is the sweet, smart, outgoing, and gay daughter of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci), but Binks is desperatley tring to
make a life all of her own, seperate from her mother. Eden's Bianca is one of the most popular characters on the show.
Eden is very dedicated to her fans. She goes to benifits, meet and greets, and promotions to meet her fans. She posts messages
and answers to questions in her Fan Forum as often as she can. Eden also has a public email address and an AMC address if
you'd like to write to her. For this info, click on Links.
